★★★★☆ "Galileo's past is revealed" was the tagline in Japan. A man was killed, but the main suspect, his girlfriend who was abused, was far away. There must be something hidden that's connecting everything. A beloved series and Higashino always add new elements to keep us excited.

"Galileo's past is revealed" It's the latest book of Galileo series and everyone has unreasonably high expectations, yet, it's still so good, Higashino keeps adding new elements so that we can never get bored.
The theme of this book is family, and child, I can't say any more without spoiling the story (and it is a bit complicated as you will be finding the transparent thread that connects everyone!) but he keeps the quality after 10 books in this series (in Japanese. In English there are 5)
After 10 books, the characters do get older, and that's also considered and he adds these elements to the story, making it real.
