誰かにもらった本。で、日本語訳なので直接の面白さは欠けるのでちょっと残念ではあるが、さっと読める短編。
同じ女性を愛したという接点のある中年の男二人の小難しい友情、もしそれが友情と呼べるのならだけど。
小難しく、イギリスらしく、暗い。
でも他のも読んでみたい。
やっぱりオリジナルがせっかく英語なら英語じゃないと。

Not a long story, of 2 middle aged men who had love a same woman, and their friendship, if you can call them "friends".
So dark and so English.

It'd have been different if I read it in English, so it's my fault I put less stars.
